Description of Work
Within the Division of Planning and Programming the Programs Management Office provides the Department with dedicated non-DOT let program management including development and administration of special and municipal agreements statewide through the Local Programs Management Office (LPMO) and oversight of other Program functions including but not limited to Grants Management including agreement creation and execution and grant reporting; Local Programs oversight which includes cradle to grave oversight of locally-delivered projects; and assistance with special agreements needed across various modes (Rail Aviation IMD Planning etc.).Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Grade and Salary Range: NC20 $67852.00 - $118741.00

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in an applicable field of engineering from an appropriately accredited institution and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Necessary Special Qualification May require registration as a professional engineer by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
