Social Studies Instructor
2026-2027 School year; 186 contract days 100% FTE
Location: Mandan High School
Position Summary:
- Mandan Public Schools isaccepting internal applications for a High School Social Studies Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. The position will instruct grade 9-12 Social Studies curriculum.
Essential Functions:

Essential duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Instruction of Social Studies curriculum that includes geography problems of democracy current issues AP dual credit U.S. History courses and possible other social studies courses.
- Technologyintegration through the Canvas platform.
- Active participation in Professional Learning Community.
- Extra curricular assignment possible not required.
Reports to:
- Building Principal
Qualifications:
- Must hold appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board.
