Lot Attendant/Porter
Duval Ford Company is seeking dependable Valet/Porters to support our service and sales teams. This role is responsible for inspecting moving and maintaining vehicles on the lot as well as assisting with general shop and dealership duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented proactive and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles upon arrival and departure to ensure quality standards
- Move vehicles safely throughout the lot and service areas
- Assist with cleaning and organizing the shop lot and customer areas
- Support service and sales teams with general duties as assigned by management
- Ensure vehicles are parked correctly and lot is maintained in a safe orderly manner
- Perform additional tasks to support dealership operations as needed
Requirements
- Valid state-issued drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift push or move vehicles and objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand walk climb balance stoop kneel crouch twist turn stretch and bend frequently
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform vehicle-related tasks
- Close and peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
- Flexibility to work every other Saturday
- Ability to pass background check MVR check and pre-employment drug test
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and complete Form I-9 within 3 business days
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a dealership automotive service or similar environment
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain a safe work environment
