Pet Allergy & Dermatology Specialists/Animal Dermatology Clinic - Allentown is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! We believe that great patient care starts with a happy team.

Requirements

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (including but not limited to):

  • Excellent client service skills
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Computer skill preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment
  • Organized and detail oriented ability to take direction ability to handle money accurately and honestly
  • Possess sound decision making skills and multi-task while working in a stressful environment


Duties (including but not limited to):

  • Client service
  • Answer phone calls
  • Take accurate messages and book appointments
  • Maintain charts and computer records
  • Pharmacy and retail sales
  • Marketing implementation
  • Maintenance/housekeeping
  • Financial responsibilities


Education and Physical Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a veterinary hospital/clinic is required
  • Dependable attendance is required
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • The ability to walk bend squat stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day
