Service Technician
Southern Motors is looking for a skilled and dependable Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service this role youll be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer standards while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

What Youll Do
- Perform vehicle inspections maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and accurately
- Communicate findings and recommended repairs clearly to the Service Advisor team
- Maintain a clean safe and organized workspace in compliance with dealership and OSHA standards
- Test and verify completed repairs to ensure quality workmanship
- Stay current with factory training certification requirements and new technologies
- Assist and collaborate with team members to maintain strong service department performance
- Deliver excellent customer service through honesty professionalism and attention to detail
What Youll Need
- Previous automotive technician experience required (manufacturer or ASE certification preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain high-quality standards
- Basic computer skills for service documentation
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED (technical or trade school training preferred)
- Own basic tools; specialty tools provided by the dealership
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive pay plan. Compensation ranging from $25-50 an hour based on experience
