Job Summary

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals at a prominent hospital in Richmond Virginia known for its commitment to maternal and fetal health. This role offers both office and inpatient coverage during a key recruitment period providing vital support to the community in managing high-risk pregnancies.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies including procedures like Amniocentesis and Chorionic Villus Sampling.
Coordinate with support staff including RN clinic educators sonographers and genetic counselors.
Manage an average of 27 scheduled patients per day.
Utilize EPIC and viewpoint for documentation and patient management.
Participate in collaborative coverage with fellow MFM physicians at St. Marys Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center.
Ensure high-quality patient care during weekday and weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Completion of a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Active Virginia medical license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
AIUM Certification preferred.
Submission to both facilities essential for consideration.
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.

License and Certification Requirements:

Valid VA medical license.
Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
BLS certification.
AIUM certification (preferred).
