In the role of Technology Innovation Lab Product Management Co-op Student you will take part in a wide range of activities to support a new team within Enbridge and get exposure to the entire product development life cycle for AI and Digital products. This an excellent job for people who want to gain exposure to Emerging technologies Agile and Design Thinking methodologies on a rapid fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
Placement Details:
This is an 8 month co-op placement starting in June 2026 in Houston TX.
What you will do:
- Communicate effectively through verbal and written channels to engage internal and external partners.
- Apply AI tools to enhance product management governance analytics and reporting processes.
- Utilize low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate Power Apps) Copilot Studio and Azure to deliver digital solutions.
- Leverage data visualization and analysis tools including SQL Python Power BI and Databricks Genie for insights and decision-making.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends with a focus on building intelligent agents and automation solutions using the Microsoft 365 stack.
- Conduct workshops and create documentation to support idea intake and product development.
- Collaborate directly with business users to understand needs and translate them into practical digital solutions.
- Apply Agile methodologies and Design Thinking principles to drive innovation and delivery.
- Work in a hybrid environment with on-site in Houston USA and remote digital collaboration in Calgary Edmonton and Toronto Canada
- Travel occasionally for business engagement or training in US or Canada.
- Thrive in a fast-paced collaborative setting with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
- Manage multiple priorities independently while keeping high-quality outcomes.
- Support Sharepoint website content administration
- Support Power-BI dashboard creation/administration
- Support Innovation Idea Intake process
- Support Business Case development
- Create and support idea intake records
- Support the creation of presentation material
- Supports broader product team with assigned tasks potentially within multiple disciplines.
- Understands basic concepts with field of study subject matter and takes the initiative to approach new tasks with oversight and guidance from Lab members.
- Ad hoc tasks as needed
Who you are:
- You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Bachelors/ Masters program studying Computer Science Information Technology Systems Engineering Business and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
- Solid exposure to AI and Digital concepts is key.
- Excellent facilitation presentation and relationship building skills
- Experience with MS SharePoint Website development is an asset
- Experience with PowerBI SQL Databricks Genie and Data visualization and reporting tools is an asset
- Knowledge of Agentic AI and experience learning and building agents is an asset
- Good grasp of Power Platform ecosystem and no-code or low-code development capabilities is an asset
- Exposure to Microsoft Teams Loop and Product Management tools is an asset
- Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
- Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridges core values (Safety Integrity Respect Inclusion High Performance).
