Job Summary
Job Title: RN Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Location: New York NY
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $86/hour
Weekly Gross: $3225
Stipend: $2590
Position Overview
A healthcare facility in New York is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical / Telemetry for a 13-week night shift contract. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment utilizing strong clinical assessment and telemetry monitoring skills.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Perform IV insertion phlebotomy and administer medications as ordered
Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation procedures
Accurately document patient care in accordance with facility policies
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain patient safety infection control and quality care standards
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
2 years of conscious sedation experience
Active and unrestricted RN license
