Key Responsibilities:
- Repair refinish and restore vehicles to factory standards
- Perform welding soldering body alignment and frame work
- Inspect vehicles and communicate additional repair needs
- Road-test vehicles for quality assurance
- Document work accurately and maintain a clean safe workspace
- Follow all safety environmental and factory procedures
- Mentor or guide apprentice technicians as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior body shop/automotive repair experience required
- ASE or I-CAR certifications preferred
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Own basic technician tools
- Strong problem-solving organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new repair methods
