Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Renewable Energy
Rome Italy (preferred location)
A privately backed IPP operating in the renewable energy and storage sector is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its leadership team in Italy.
The business is supported by long-term ESG-focused institutional capital and is at an exciting stage of growth with an active pipeline of renewable and storage projects.
The role:
Lead financial strategy governance and reporting
Oversee budgeting forecasting and cash management
Support project finance funding structures and investor engagement
Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and shareholders
Build and lead the finance function as the platform scales
The ideal profile:
10 years of experience in similar roles
Senior finance leadership experience (CFO / Finance Director level)
Background in renewables energy infrastructure
Strong exposure to project finance and investment-led environments
Strategic hands-on and comfortable in growth-phase platforms
Based in Italy or open to relocation (Rome preferred)
