Speech Language Pathologist Full-Time
Position Overview:
Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) is seeking applicants for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the Tri County region. The goal of an SLP is to provide remedial services to students with speech language voice fluency or hearing disorders with the outcome of improving expressive/receptive communication and attain the necessary speech and language skills.
Pay and Benefits
- Salary: Bachelors $63830 Masters $65971 Masters 15 $67385 Masters 30 $69097
- 187 work days per school year 37.5 hour work week.
- 10 paid sick days 3 Personal Days 2 Emergency Days per school year
- Medical Dental Vision Insurance upon hire date. $75/month for individuals or families. Life Insurance provided for employee at no cost.
Required Qualifications:
- PA Educational Specialist Certificate School Speech and Language Pathologist PK-12
- PA State Licensure in Speech/Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) - Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
- Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs interests and abilities of the students.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
- Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate superior.
- Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.
