Job Summary

Orientation and Mobility Specialist School Year
Start Date: ASAP

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) to provide in-person services for a high school students who is visually impaired. This role offers flexibility and a chance to make a direct meaningful impact on a students independence and confidence in navigating their environment.

Requirements

  • Certification in Orientation and Mobility (COMS)

  • Active CDE license or eligibility to obtain one

  • Experience providing O&M services in school settings preferred

Position Details

  • In-person services on a high school campus in Brighton CO

  • Approximately 35 hours per week with some additional time initially to make up missed service hours from the start of the school year

  • Flexible scheduling to meet both the students and providers availability
