Job Summary
Whited Ford is a full service new and used car dealer in Bangor Maine. We provide Top Tier service to customers across multiple counties. We are looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team. Youll be responsible for customer service and retail sales at an auto parts this position your responsibilities include selling parts and taking inventory of stock in storage and if necessary on shelves

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
- Complete special order part request for the customer
- Communicate with customer on parts status
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Understand and follow federal state and local regulations applicable to industry
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year in automotive parts departments
- Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Strong reading computer and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive friendly attitude
