Description of Work

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Recruitment Range: $39864 - $59797

Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:

• Experience in planning and implementing recreational therapy interventions in 1:1 and group settings.
• Knowledge in developing and implementing active treatment modalities (examples include leisure education cognitive thought process exercise social skills problem solving copings skills etc.).
• Ability to accurately administer a variety of assessment tools develop treatment plans and evaluate patient progress.
• Ability to perform accurate and thorough record-keeping is required.
• Ability to instruct and guide student interns subordinate staff members and other professional personnel in recreation therapy methods and techniques.

This Position Is Designated as Mandatory and Must Report or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.
