Job Summary
Banquet Server
As a Banquet Server youll help create memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional service during events meetings and banquets. Youll set up and break down event spaces serve food and beverages and ensure every guest feels welcomed and cared for. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude great attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be an essential part of our hotels special events providing attentive and friendly service to our guests.
- Your daily tasks will include setting up and breaking down event spaces serving food and beverages and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- You will report to the Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager.
- A career as a banquet server can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry such as banquet captain restaurant server or even food and beverage management positions.
Education & Experience
Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:
A combination of education and experience.
What Youll Need to Succeed
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
- Ability to sit stand bend kneel and lift as requiredwith or without reasonable accommodations
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays if needed
- A warm professional demeanor that reflects HVMGs Culture of Excellenceby showing a warm smile friendly personality and positive attitude.
