ENGLISH TEACHERS - (NATIVES SPEAKERS)

Job Description

Student mentoring and playing an active role in their language development inside and out of the classroom

Administrative duties plus class preparation record keeping and report writing

Participation in faculty meetings committees professional development training orientations workshops testing and placement

Required Qualifications

Female and male native speakers of English from the UK USA Ireland and South Africa

Bachelors degree in relevant field (English Language Teaching ESL education linguistics TESOL etc.); degrees in other areas considered with appropriate ESL certification and experience (no online qualifications)

MA/PhD and other advanced graduate degrees highly desirable and given priority

120 hour in-class ESL certification consisting of a CELTA DELTA TESOL/TEFL Trinity diploma or post graduate diploma in English teaching and teaching certificate in ESL (no online certifications)

2 years ESL teaching experience (must be full-time in-class teaching experience to adult students at a recognized university school or language center. No teaching assistant roles private tutoring online teaching volunteer NGO and/or migrants teaching positions. Teachers evaluation and recommendation are required from employers)

Sensitive to cultural differences and able to adapt to a way of life requiring understanding conformity and flexibility

Strong computer skills with experience in using technology in classroom

Required Qualifications

BS or MS degree in Math

Minimum of 4 years full-time teaching Math in secondary schools and above

Computer and graphing calculator literacy is desirable

The applicant has to sit for a (30-mins.) craft test
