We are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 Tissue Viability for a hospital in Dublin Ireland. This is a full-time permanent position.
Responsibilities
Deliver a clinically focused tissue viability service providing both direct and indirect patient care.
Undertake comprehensive assessment planning implementation and evaluation of patient care in collaboration with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team.
Manage patients with tissue viability needs applying specialist clinical knowledge and professional expertise.
Provide leadership in communication education teaching research and patient counselling within the service.
Apply specialist knowledge to develop implement and maintain high standards of evidence-based tissue viability care.
Practice in line with the five core concepts of the Clinical Nurse Specialist framework.
Deliver a high-quality holistic service aimed at improving patient outcomes and enhancing overall patient health and wellbeing.
Requirements
Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligible for registration with NMBI
Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting within the last 7 years
Formal recognised post-registration qualification relevant to the area of specialist practice at Level 9 (Graduate Diploma or Honours Degree)
Management experience desirable but not essential
Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Strong IT skills are essential
