Rathi Rubber India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and proactive Deputy Plant Incharge with a strong mechanical maintenance background and proven exposure to the pyrolysis or similar process industries. The role involves supporting the Plant Incharge in overseeing day-to-day plant operations ensuring smooth production flow effective manpower utilization preventive maintenance execution and strict compliance with safety environmental and documentation standards.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills hands-on troubleshooting expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Assist the Plant Incharge in managing day-to-day operations of the pyrolysis plant and coordinating activities across shifts.

• Monitor production targets efficiency parameters and material consumption to ensure optimal plant performance.

• Plan schedule and execute preventive as well as breakdown maintenance activities for mechanical equipment and plant utilities.

• Identify diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.

• Manage manpower allocation shift scheduling and team performance across production and maintenance teams.

• Maintain accurate operational records equipment logs maintenance reports and statutory documentation in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure strict compliance with safety environmental health (EHS) and quality standards within the plant.

• Conduct regular equipment inspections and implement preventive maintenance plans to improve equipment life and reliability.

• Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience: Minimum 3 4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and operations within pyrolysis or similar process industries (tyre recycling plastic recycling chemical processing etc.)

• Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and plant equipment

  • Preventive maintenance planning and execution

  • Mechanical troubleshooting in continuous process industries

• Operational Exposure: Experience in production monitoring shift handling manpower coordination and maintenance documentation

• Strong communication and coordination skills across all levels

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting expertise

• High attention to detail in documentation and reporting

• Proficiency in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint

• Safety-focused mindset with strong EHS awareness

• Willingness to learn new processes equipment and industry technologies

• Ability to work in an industrial plant environment with exposure to heat noise and heavy machinery

• Physically capable of standing walking climbing and handling plant-related activities for extended periods

• Willingness to work rotational shifts including night shifts

• Flexible to work overtime and attend emergency maintenance situations

• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights when required

• Prior experience in the tyre pyrolysis industry

• Exposure to regulatory compliance audits and statutory documentation
