Job Summary
we are seeking a highly technical SAP EPPDS (Embedded Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling) Specialist to support manufacturing planning operations globally. This role focuses on detailed production planning within manufacturing sites and requires deep SAP configuration expertise.
The specialist will work closely with plant planners and global IT leaders to resolve issues implement enhancements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:-
Configure support and enhance SAP EPPDS / PPDS solutions in S/4HANA or APO

Work closely with manufacturing site planners to understand production constraints and planning requirements

Troubleshoot complex planning and scheduling issues within SAP

Propose system enhancements ranging from minor configuration changes to larger project initiatives

Support global rollout and post go-live stabilization of EPPDS

Collaborate with global stakeholders and secure approvals for enhancements

6 8 years of SAP experience with strong focus on EPPDS / PPDS

Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting expertise in SAP PPDS

Strong understanding of manufacturing planning and shop-floor operations

Experience in process industries (Chemical Food Petrochemical Pharmaceutical FMCG)

Ability to work independently in a global multi-site environment

Experience with continuous flow manufacturing

Exposure to SAP IBP integration with PPDS

Strong communication skills to work with plant-level and global stakeholders
