Job Summary

Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Location:St. Louis MO 63112
Contract Length:5 Months

Abehavioralhealth facility is seeking Psychiatric RNs to provide inpatient mental health care. Nurses will work either day or night 12-hour shifts and support patientsrequiringacute psychiatric or correctional mental health services.

Schedule:

Days: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM

Nights: 6:00 PM 6:30 AM

12-hour shifts with a 30-minute break

Requirements:

At least 1 year of psychiatric or correctional RN experience

Minimum 1 year of travel RN experience

Active Missouri RN license

Responsibilities:

Perform mental health assessments and ongoing evaluations

Administer psychotropic medications safely

Maintain patient safety and managebehavioralcrises

Use therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques

Document care in compliance with mental health standards
