Job Summary

Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Location:St. Louis MO 63112
Contract Length:5 Months

Abehavioralhealth facility is seeking Psychiatric RNs to provide inpatient mental health care. Nurses will work either day or night 12-hour shifts and support patientsrequiringacute psychiatric or correctional mental health services.

Schedule:

  • Days: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM
  • Nights: 6:00 PM 6:30 AM
  • 12-hour shifts with a 30-minute break

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of psychiatric or correctional RN experience
  • Minimum 1 year of travel RN experience
  • Active Missouri RN license

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mental health assessments and ongoing evaluations
  • Administer psychotropic medications safely
  • Maintain patient safety and managebehavioralcrises
  • Use therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques
  • Document care in compliance with mental health standards
