2:45 PM to 11:15 PM 56-72 hours per pay period Every-other weekend
This part-time Category D LPN position is scheduled between 5672 hours per pay period usually closer to 72 with a base pay of $29.33$42.53/hr. Evening shifts include a $3/hr differential and weekend shifts add $3.25/hr increasing total earning potential.
Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement current bargaining unit employees had priority consideration for the first 7 days; this posting is now open to all applicants equally.
You will provide direct resident care under RN supervision in accordance with the NYS Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The unit cares for 34 adult and geriatric residents blending short-stay rehab (average 16 weeks) and long-term care. Residents may require post-op recovery sepsis care wound management (including wound vacs) and antibiotic therapy.
Evening shifts are steady yet active supported by vascular services respiratory therapy and rapid response with the unit located two floors from the ED. Staffing is maintained at or above national safe-staffing standards.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program current NY LPN license strong teamwork and communication skills completion of pre-placement screening and competency to meet age-specific resident needs. Experience preferred.
