Senior Cloud Software Engineer (AWS)

You do not just build software. You design systems that scale protect sensitive data and stand up under real world pressure.
This role is for a senior level cloud engineer who wants ownership. You will architect build and scale cloud based platforms used in consumer and healthcare environments where performance security and reliability are non negotiable.
You will lead by example mentor other engineers and partner closely with product design and external stakeholders to deliver high impact solutions. If you enjoy solving complex problems working hands on in AWS and shaping systems that handle meaningful data this role will keep you challenged.
What You Will Do
- Architect build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs on AWS
- Design cloud native solutions using Lambda EC2 RDS S3 API Gateway and IAM
- Own system performance reliability and scalability across production environments
- Partner with product managers and cross functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers with a focus on quality and growth
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause resolution
- Contribute to cloud security strategy protecting user access and sensitive healthcare data
- Design and implement AI driven cloud solutions to analyze data and optimize workflows
- Contribute to architecture decisions and long term technical strategy
- Document system design architecture and development processes
Details:
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- 8 years of hands on cloud development experience primarily AWS
- Strong experience with TypeScript Python JavaScript or
- Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2 Lambda RDS S3 IAM
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL MySQL DynamoDB
- Expertise building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines Docker and modern deployment practices
- Strong problem solving skills with a performance and scalability mindset
- Clear communicator who works well across engineering product and business teams
- Comfortable working in Agile development environments
