The selected candidate is expected to deliver informed and accurate advice on a wide variety of life and living benefit insurance products in a charismatic helpful manner.

Responsibilities
No cold calling - we have a strong inbound acquisition channel
Manage relationships and deliver excellent customer service
Explain how life insurance and related products work and provide expert insurance advice and guidance to customers.
Assist customers with our digital tools and walk them through the application and underwriting process.
Review digital life insurance applications for accuracy before submission to the insurance carrier(s).
Help customers submit medical and non-medical forms and schedule appointments required to satisfy underwriting requirements.
Regularly communicate with customers through various channels including phone email web and video chat.
Demonstrate expertise in non-face-to-face carrier workflows underwriting processes and software tools.
Act as the main channel of feedback between customers and product teams to drive improvements to our process and technology.
Ideal background: 2-5 years of operations or customer management experience at a leading financial institution or successful consumer service company. Work experience in an online business will be helpful although not a requirement Financial services or insurance experience is preferred Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and data tables. Problem-solving skills and a strong desire to take ownership of tasks and processes and a willingness to learn Understanding of risk regulatory and compliance requirements Exceptional written and verbal communication; strong collaboration skills Bachelors degree in Business Finance or Operations or related fields or equivalent practical experience; MBA is a plus (or enough career experience that degrees arent the most interesting thing youve accomplished)
