Summary: The Field Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance of video internet and customer-facing technologies at serviced properties and commercial offices. This position requires a proactive customer-focused individual who delivers reliable on-site support resolves technical issues efficiently and maintains accurate records. The technician contributes to customer satisfaction by providing timely professional service while adapting to evolving technologies and operational demands.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues related to video internet and customer connectivity.
- Install and activate routers TVs and internet services using plug-and-play methods.
- Maintain accurate service records by updating tickets and managing appointment schedules.
- Stay current with both existing and emerging technologies through continuous learning.
- Communicate service updates and issues to field teams and management promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven customer service skills with a hands-on solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to meet scheduled appointment windows and manage time effectively.
- Experience with routers (Calix experience is a plus) and foundational networking knowledge.
- Comfortable performing light installations and diagnosing basic technical problems.
