Job Summary

We are looking for a Safety Analyst!

Are you passionate about aviation safety and enjoy being at the heart of operations If so the Safety Analyst role might be the perfect fit for you!As a Safety Analyst you will be part of the team responsible for coordination and analysis of occurrence and hazard reports with a direct influence on the safety of our operations.

Challenges you will work on:

Your ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial in this role as the team serves all parts of the SAS Group with safety coordination services including but not limited to:

  • Coordinating occurrence reports within the occurrence reporting system
  • Defining maintaining and continuously improving the occurrence report handling process
  • Ensure mandatory and timely reporting to CAAs and other relevant authorities
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties concerned
  • Perform safety analysis

To be successful we believe you have:

A solid documented (preferably recent) experience within the airline industry. Furthermore you have experience and sound knowledge of civil aviation regulations (EU 376/2014) SAS Airline Operations as well as Safety Management Systems and procedures.

You have an educational background within aeronautical engineering or other relevant aviation background with focus on technical aspects for instance from CAMO or P-145.

In addition you have:
Very good command of English both verbal and written
Very good knowledge of IS/IT in aviation reporting systems
Knowledge of one of the Scandinavian languages is beneficial.
