Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for cleaning preparing warranty packs trash handling and sanitizing services in the plant which includes but is not limited to the restrooms office areas breakroom and the production area of the plant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs all janitorial responsibilities which includes vacuuming sweeping mopping cleaning restrooms breakrooms front offices and production area of the plant.
- Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies towels soap trash bags etc.
- Ensures good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures.
- Operates floor scrubber
- Maintains trash removal throughout the plant breakroom restrooms offices etc.
- Collects cardboard to crush from production area and front office area.
- Clean outside breakroom area
- Prepares and assembles warranty packs
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize cleanliness and safety
- Communication skills
- Team oriented
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- N/A
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly: Walking standing
Occasionally: Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Seldom/Never: Computer Work sitting
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures policies and practices.
