Geisinger Wyoming Valley is seeking a Nocturnist Physician Hospitalist to join their team in Wilkes Barre PA.Schedule: 7pm - 7am (7 days on 7 days off)
ICU: Partially open
Procedures: Not Required
A hospital-based physician who only works overnight. Nocturnists are usually trained in internal medicine and have experience in hospital medicine. However there are nocturnists trained in other such as psychiatry or family medicine.
Job Duties:
- Interviews patients to obtain information such as symptoms medical histories and family testsas needed.
- Diagnose and design a plan of treatment for injuries and/or prescribeor maintains and reviews records that includepatientshistories examination findings treatment plans or outcomes.
Work is typically performed in a clinical and office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
