Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County for more than 50 years. Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Meets the discipline-specific productivity standard.
- Demonstrates competence in care of patients during field observation by the clinical supervisor.
- Completes and submits documentation following established guidelines as measured by a designated evaluation tool.
- Physician orders are present and written correctly.
- Documents follow up of identified problems.
- Reviews and documents clinical progress toward goals.
- Demonstrates coordination of care by appropriate communication with other disciplines and team members and documents that communication as measured by a designated evaluation tool.
- Meets agency/regulatory requirements as measured by a designated evaluation tool.
- Documents appropriate management of visit utilization and authorization status as measured by a designated evaluation tool.
- Meets regulatory requirements for supervisory visits as measured by a designated evaluation tool.
Job Requirements
Experience:
Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist student/ intern required.
Education:
- Completed an accredited Occupational Therapy degree program and be board eligible and able to obtain CA OT license within 6 months or have already obtained a CA OT License
Licensure and Certifications:
- Occupational Therapist: CA (OT:CA) within 6 - months
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) upon hire
- Drivers License: CA (AUTO:CA)
- Auto Insurance (AUTO-INS)
