Payroll Specialist

$25-$29/Hour
Payroll Processing
- Process of new hire paperwork: verification and entry into the HR/payroll system to ensure all changes to employee records are applied.
- Execute accurate timely weekly payroll for exempt non-exempt union and commissioned employees.
- Validate timecards hours worked pay rates and job classification.
- Ensure proper benefit deductions are withheld from employee payroll checks.
- Perform pre-payroll and post-payroll audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Provide clear responsive support for employee and manager payroll questions.
- Support special projects within the payroll department.

Preferred Experience:
- Some payroll experience ideally multi-state.
- Familiarity with ADP HRIS/payroll systems.
- Strong Excel skills for audits reporting and reconciliations.
