Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Press Feeder to join our dynamic team in the print industry. The Press Feeder will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our printing presses by preparing and feeding materials into the press maintaining quality standards and supporting production flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Preparation: Prepare printing materials including paper inks and other substrates ensuring that all are properly loaded and ready for printing.
• Feeding Operations: Operate feeding equipment to load paper and other materials into the printing press accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitoring Production: Continuously monitor the printing process to ensure that materials are fed smoothly and identify any issues that may arise during printing.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on printed materials to ensure they meet company standards and specifications. Report any quality issues to the press operator and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintenance Support: Assist in the routine maintenance of printing equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
• Collaboration: Work closely with press operators supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless production workflows and achieve production targets.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines in the workplace to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in printing technology is a plus.
• Previous experience in a printing or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with printing processes and machinery is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including possible overtime or weekends.

Working Conditions

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Use of hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
