Overview
Volunteering with Change Grow Live isa great wayto make a real difference in peoples lives whilstgaining valuable experience. Whether you want to give back to your community develop new skills or meet like-minded people there are plenty of reasons to get involved.
Responsibilities
At Change Grow Live we strive to ensure our services are warm and welcoming environments. Your role is to be the first point of contact within the service greeting all our visitors promptly in a friendly and courteous manner. You will be supporting reception dealing with initial queries coordinating appointments signposting to support available within the service and the community.
Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience so your role will be to make them feel at ease offering to make them a drink and supporting them to complete their registration form
An important part of the role is listening to people and sharing what you have heard with the service representing their views and using their feedback to help inform how we develop and improve our services. You will help to ensure people hear about any decisions or changes that are made because of their feedback. You will be working with Change Grow Live staff and connecting with the wider community.

We also expect an assertive approach to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children young people and adults and applicants to these posts will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding are actively recruiting people who can offer us 1 3 days per week to work within our drug & alcohol service; we are specifically looking for people who are keen and enthusiastic and would be able to commit to staying as a volunteer with us for up to one year.
Interviews will take place after 30/03/26
All candidates must be available for training which will commence from 20/04/26 and will involve one day/week over seven weeks as follows:
Mondays at Bradnor Point Wythenshawe M22 4TF
Wednesdays at The Old School House Clayton M11 4HA
