Job Summary

REPORTING STRUCTURE: The Electricity Instructor reports to the Building Principal. JOB DESCRIPTION: This individual is accountable for teaching and supervising students in the Electricity Chapter 74 Career Vocational Technical Education (CVTE) state frameworks and curriculum RESPONSIBILITIES:Development and implementation of departmental curriculum objectives and planning developing and integration of the departments curriculum where with the Electricity program staff to implement changes in the curriculum and/or new program input in faculty/team performance evaluation of students at the end of each marking period for grading for assuring equal educational opportunity to all individuals regardless of race color gender age marital status religion gender identity national origin sexual orientation homelessness or of other job-related duties as : Massachusetts teachers licensure in Electricity Chapter 74 or the ability to obtain within one year. Current OSHA-10 and NEC Certifications. Five years of full-time employment experience directly related to the electrical of mastery of various teacher competencies and understanding of instructional techniques. Demonstrated skill and working knowledge of various aspects of the industry including but not limited to residential and industrial. Demonstrated skill and working knowledge of electricity (alternating and direct currents). Demonstrated experience supporting students with special needs
