Lake Placid Conference & Olympic Center Lake Placid NY
Located in the heart of historic Lake Placid home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games this iconic venue hosts ECAC Mens Hockey Tournaments youth hockey events conferences and catered events throughout the year. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment with an unforgettable backdrop this is the place for you!
What Youll Do:
As a Server youll be on the front lines of creating an exceptional guest experience - delivering friendly attentive service while keeping the energy high.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and stocking your station for each shift
- Welcoming guests sharing daily specials and taking food and beverage orders
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of menu items ingredients and pairings
- Providing responsible alcohol service and verifying guest age when required
- Entering and confirming orders accurately through the POS system
- Supporting a positive welcoming dining environment through excellent service
What Were Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- TIPS / TEAM certification (or equivalent)
- Strong communication teamwork and guest service skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-energy environment
- Flexibility to work nights weekends holidays and extended or irregular hours
