Job Summary
- Contribute to and own elements of the design implementation deployment and maintenance of all ground system software for Astroscale U.S. programs.
- Design and build software for deployment in cloud-hosted on-prem and hybrid environments.
- Rapidly prototype software and infrastructure to prove out design concepts.
- Work in a full-stack capacity across back-end and front-end specialties.
- Work iteratively with Flight Software Software Test Software Platform Guidance Navigation & Control and other internal teams to achieve program goals ahead of schedule.
- Embody a culture of innovation technical excellence continuous improvement and customer focus.
Qualifications :
- 2 years of professional experience writing Rust.
- Professional experience with aerospace ground software systems.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS Azure).
- Familiarity with Git bash Python Docker and Linux.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies and design patterns.
- Passion for building next-generation space-sustainability technology.
- Ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately.
- Ability to organize work assignments to meet established timetables.
- Collaborative communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and agile environment.
- Bachelors degree in computer science computer engineering or related field.

Salary range: $100000 $140000. The salary range represents the low and high end of the Astroscale U.S. Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience knowledge and ability as applicable to the role.
