Position Overview

The Education Facilitator supports a continuing learning growing and changing environment by providing and facilitating education activities which enhance knowledge skills and competencies of all staff to meet current and future needs.

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years current (within the last five (5) years) clinical nursing experience in a related clinical area.
  • Program planning and evaluation experience is required.
  • Previous experience in clinical education is essential demonstrated teaching abilities.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required.
  • Masters degree in nursing or in the clinical specialty preferred.
  • Course in Adult Education preferred.
  • Advanced educational certificate/post-graduate course related to the clinical area required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Current registration with the Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses.
  • BLS Instructors Certificate required.
  • Current membership in a related specialty association.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
