Salary/Position Classification

• $15/hour undergrad $17/hour grad student hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 7-10 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

The student will assist in grading homework assignments for Engr 460 for the Spring 2026 semester with the possibility of renewal for future semesters.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Grade approximately 1 homework assignment per week for up to 60 students
  • This will be 2-3 problems per assignment and they will check for correct methods and answers including work both done by hand and in Excel

Minimum Requirements

• Must have received an A in Engr 460 or equivalent course
• Proficient in Excel
• Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
