DescriptionThe Landscape Architect Manager is responsible for overseeing and working with outside consultants to develop the budget the design and then the construction of amenities monument signage and landscaping in Perry Homes self-developed communities. The Landscape Architect Manager will also work with Marketing on community theming branding and naming.
Perry Homes does not have this position in other markets (Dallas Central Texas and Florida) therefore there is a potential opportunity for this person to also contribute to projects in other areas outside of Houston.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Select consultants for architecture landscape and amenities.
- Project management
- Assist in special projects as needed.
Requirements- Requires at least 4 years of relevant landscape architecture experience.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively and professionally with outside professional consultants and contractors both verbally and in writing.
- Effectively work with engineering and planning departments of local municipalities and counties.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions reports correspondence blueprints construction plans plats and development plans. Ability to write correspondence and reports. Ability to manage and forecast the progress and performance of one or more projects.
- Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook Excel Word and PowerPoint.
- Current valid Drivers License with acceptable driving record.
