Our client a leading Software Information and Communication Technologies company operates internationally (Athens Brussels Luxembourg Copenhagen Stockholm London Nicosia Hong-Kong Valetta etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions multinational corporations public administrations and multinational companies research and academic institutes.

Role Overview

We currently have a vacancy for an Systems Engineer (DevOpsLinux) fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Strasbourg France. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on-site at customer the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Location: Strasbourg France.

Workplace: Onsite

Requirements

University degree in IT preferably in computer science combined with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in IT;
Proven experience in project management;
Experience as Linux System Engineer (Debian RHEL RockyLinux Ubuntu);
Experience with DevOpsCI/CD pipelines scripting(Python/Bash) and cloud(Azure/AWS);
Good knowledge of web hosting under Apache/nGinx/Traefik;
Good knowledge of backup virtualization and paravirtualization Docker Swarm Portainer;
Good knowledge of Puppet Terraform and Ansible;
Good knowledge of Nagios Prometheus Grafana Minio Thanos OpenTelemetry;
Good knowledge of ElasticSearch Logstash Kibana and Syslog-ng components;
Knowledge of networking Netfilter Strongswan and troubleshooting;
Knowledge of authentication/identification SAMLv2 OpenID Connect;
Knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases;
Monitoring of POC phases and user support for system issues;
Excellent command of the English and French language.
