Position: Light Duty Cleaner

We are currently seeking a dependable and hard-working Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic attention to detail and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweep mop wash wax and polish floors
Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs draperies and upholstered furniture
Make beds change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
Attend to guests requests for extra supplies
Stock linen closets and other supplies areas
Clean disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms showers and elevators
Disinfect operating rooms and other hospital areas
Pick up debris and empty trash containers
Wash windows walls and ceilings.
Report and store lost and found items
May provide basic information on facilities
May handle complaints.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is an asset

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals proper storage and disposal methods

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills

- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 pounds

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if needed
