Highlights of your role
- Lead audits that go beyond checklistsassess how processes really work and where they can shine.
- Review internal controls and make sure theyre not just in place but effective.
- Map out workflows and create clear easy-to-follow documentation.
- Dive into data and testing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Share your findings in reports that highlight risks and actionable recommendations.
- Partner with management to close gaps and keep improvements moving forward.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and keep our audit programs fresh.
- Jump in on special projects and investigations when needed.
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Education: Bachelors in Accounting Finance Business or similar.
- Experience: 3 years in internal audit (manufacturing or multi-location experience is a plus).
- Skills:
- Integrity and confidentiality are second nature to you.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Great communicator who can connect with people at all levels.
- Solid understanding of compliance and risk management.
- Comfortable creating process documentation and flowcharts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; audit software experience is a bonus.
- Certifications like CIA CPA or CFE (or working toward them).
