Job Duties Clinical
- Respond to emergency situations and complete required documentation
- Provide backup as Shift Leader and/or Rehab Tech duties as needed
- Address patient issues ( Assessments direct patient care special tracking log)
- Ensure communication of specific concerns regarding patient safety or health
- Monitor and assist with dispensing of medications as needed
- Provide patient/care-giver education for medical conditions and medications
- Communicate with On Call or/or physicians/office nurse as needed
- Model teach and mentor the Rehabilitation Technicians on the Pate Core Values and Customer Service Quality Standards
- Review and update as needed MARs PRN lists and/or procedure records
- Monitor patients vital signs weights hydration output food intake labs blood sugar responsiveness skin integrity etc to ensure medical stability
Responsibilities
- Supervise educate and develop Shift Leaders and Residential staff
- Ensure timely and thorough documentation of care provided within the facility
- Provide exceptional customer service including patient/caregiver education and communication with patient care team
- Ensure adequate supplies are available for all facility staff
- Maintain a working knowledge of standards and regulations for THHSC CARF CRS and CDC
- Other duties as assigned by location
Qualifications
- Supervisory experience preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications
