- Previous experience in IT support or coordination ideally within the hospitality leisure or service sector
- Familiarity with Microsoft systems and platforms
- Experience with hotel systems such as Fidelio and Micros is preferred
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical skills and current knowledge of IT trends
- General understanding of IT infrastructure including networks databases business applications and security
- Ability to anticipate needs and assist with developing contingency plans
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to grow professionally and support the development of other team members

An Assistant IT Manager will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of IT systems including business systems office systems computer networks and telephony systems throughout the hotel. This role works closely with and reports directly to the IT Manager providing hands-on support to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations across all departments.
What will I be doing
As an Assistant IT Manager you will support and help supervise the IT Department to ensure the delivery and maintenance of all hotel IT systems and services ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. You will contribute to the implementation and performance of IT operations within budget timelines and in line with Hilton standards. Specifically you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Support the IT Manager in providing consistent strong operational support for all internal hotel IT systems and users minimizing system outages
- Assist in the daily supervision and coordination of the IT Department
- Maintain excellent product knowledge and apply it to deliver full system benefits
- Understand and adhere to legal requirements related to IT governance and security
- Efficiently handle and resolve IT issues that arise
- Identify current and future system needs and propose appropriate solutions
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all hotel departments
