This is a standout opportunity to step into a key leadership role at one of the most distinctive fitness clubs in the Netherlands. The club serves over 5000 members primarily professionals and corporates seeking a premium health and wellness experience.

As Operations and Service Manager youll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations ensuring a consistently excellent member experience and building a high-performance team culture. This is a hands-on visible role with a strong presence on the floor ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to bring structure and accountability to a busy team.

Youll also be supported in your longer-term development with a clear path to a future General Manager position.

What Youll Be Doing

• Leading and supporting front-of-house operations including reception and duty management

• Coaching and managing a team of 10 reception staff and 67 duty managers

• Establishing operational consistency through rotas reporting and communication

• Overseeing club presentation member engagement and service delivery

• Collaborating with department heads and supporting the General Manager in all areas

• Improving member satisfaction (target: 85%) through structure and team performance

• Acting as Duty Manager for 24 shifts per week including one weekend day

• Premium fitness facility set across four levels within a nine-storey building

• 5000 members primarily city professionals and corporate clients

• Facilities include a full gym swimming pool sauna steam room and studios

• A fast-paced high-traffic environment where presentation and experience are key

• The club operates in a unique building dating back to the 1970s requiring attention to infrastructure and maintenance standards

About You

• Operational management experience in fitness hospitality leisure or service environments

• Strong people management and communication skills

• Comfortable working on the floor and leading from the front

• Highly organised and confident creating structure in fast-paced settings

• Able to oversee older buildings and facilities while maintaining high standards

• Ambitious and ready to step into a General Manager role in the near future
