Job Summary
LIGENTEC is a young and dynamic company located in Lausanne Switzerland. We are manufacturing Photonic
Integrated Circuits (PIC) for customers in high-tech areas such as Quantum Technologies LiDAR Space
Technologies and Biosensors. LIGENTEC All-Nitride technology enables our customers to develop their
products in the industrial revolution 4.0.
We are looking for a Junior Operations Engineer to join the operations team at LIGENTEC France. The
ideal candidate is a motivated and hands-on team player eager to support daily test operations
logistics coordination and process automation.
Tasks
Your responsibilities:
Execute automated wafer-level test campaigns on dedicated measurement setups
Coordinate testing logistics with the operations team including wafer handling packaging and
shipment preparation
Monitor test execution flag anomalies and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to testing and logistics
workflows
Support automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
Assist with data processing reporting and dashboard updates
Requirements
Your profile:
BSc or MSc in Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field
Proficiency in Python; experience with web development (HTML JavaScript PHP) is an
advantage
Interest in automation and process improvement
Reliable detail-oriented and able to work autonomously
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Working proficiency in English and French
Prior experience in the semiconductor or photonics industry is an asset
