Job Summary:
- Position: Android Developer
- Location: Calgary Canada - Remote (must be legally authorized to work; no visa sponsorship)
- Company: Infiligence a global technology company with offices in Chennai Hyderabad and California USA
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Implement modern UI components and follow best practices
- Lead and execute data migration from Realm Sync to PowerSync ensuring data integrity and performance
- Collaborate with backend teams for API integration and data synchronization
- Optimize app performance reliability and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards
- Debug and resolve application issues across various Android versions
- Stay updated with latest Android development trends and technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4 6 years experience in Android application development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
- Practical experience migrating databases from Realm Sync to PowerSync
- Understanding of mobile data sync and offline-first architectures
- Experience with REST APIs JSON and third-party integrations
- Solid grasp of Android architecture components (MVVM ViewModel LiveData/State)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
