- Itinerary Planning: Research destinations transport and activities to create customized itineraries.
- Booking & Reservations: Book flights accommodations rental cars tours and other services.
- Information Provision: Supply details on customs weather visa requirements and local attractions.
- Sales & Promotion: Use promotional techniques and up-sell services like travel insurance.
- Customer Service: Handle complaints resolve unforeseen problems and manage issues during travel.
- Record Keeping: Maintain client records financial statements and supplier relationships.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on travel trends new destinations and regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Travel Consultant/Agent.
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with booking systems (GDS) and CRM software.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of geography tourism and destinations.
- Language: Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
- Education: High school diploma; a degree in tourism or hospitality is often preferred.
