Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contested Paralegal to support civil litigation matters in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

This is an onsite full-time position based in Winston-Salem North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive paralegal support for contested civil litigation matters
Draft review and manage legal documents pleadings and correspondence
Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case preparation
Manage case files calendars and deadlines
Communicate professionally with clients court personnel and internal staff
Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment at all times
Assist in trial preparation and other litigation-related activities as needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of civil litigation experience
Strong understanding of legal terminology court procedures and litigation processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of professionalism discretion and judgment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field
