The Opportunity
Our Southland Water business is seeking a hands-on Project Supervisorto join our Water Projects crewin a full-time position based out of our depot in Invercargill.

As a successful applicant you will be involved in delivering a variety of civil projects primarily in the 3-waters sector. The role is for hands on involvement in daily site operations including supervision/leadership of staff and managing plant subbies and materials on various sized jobs across the Southland Region. You will also interact with client representatives suppliers and staff from our wider business. Our projects span from rural areas to urban or industrial sites for various clients including local councils government agencies private industry and land developers.

About You

• Experience with on-site supervision of construction crews
• Construction experience within the 3 Waters Industry

• An understanding of works planning process set-up and execution of work within financial allowances

• Class 2 Drivers Licence or above with W T R endorsements
• Competent operating various sized excavators loaders and tip trucks
• Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to problem solve and work under pressure
• A strong commitment to zero harm
• A results driven team player ready to pitch in to help ensure our projects and team succeed for our clients

Advantageous but not essential

• Drivers License Class 4 5

• Certified Drainlayer and Level 3 (or higher) Water Retic qualifications

• Experience with polyethylene concrete and PVC pipeline construction

• STMS Traffic Management qualification
