Job Summary

Seeking Production Supervisors for a few manufacturing companies in the York-Columbia-Lancaster PA areas.

Essential Skills of Position:

Drive Quality Productivity/Cost Safety Delivery and People Metrics for 20-30 production floor associates
Coach and continuously build your employees skill sets/Provide great performance and work behavior feedback
Learn all aspects of the assigned Production lines and establish relationships with all associates in order to effectively coach them to meet targeted results
Constantly look for continuous improvements and talk with associates to find opportunities to improve all metrics and processes
Ensure all Safety standards OSHA requirements and safe job practices are followed. Must lead by example and not compromise the safety of employees for productivity!
Maintain an organized workplace-follow and sustain all 5S/Workplace Organization efforts
Track all key metrics and share with employees on a daily basis
Provide mechanical support as necessary depending on your skills

Desired Education Skills Experience and Qualities:

Prefer a degree in Business or a 2-year technical degree.
Need someone who has been a Supervisor or Team Leader for at least 3 years (could be shortened if you have a degree)
Mechanical skills a plus but not critical.
Previous Lean experience a plus!
Need a great communicator. You cant be successful in this position without having great communications and interpersonal skills.
Want individuals who understand that their individual success depends on the success of the team. Your score is the teams score!
Prefer individuals who are passionate about continuous improvements.
Need individuals who are floor people.

Jobs pay from 55-75k DOE.
