WHO WE ARE:The Elmhurst Park District established in 1920 and located 16 miles west of Chicago provides parks recreation facilities and programs to meet our mission of enriching lives while having fun. We are now hiringGUEST SERVICES at our Outdoor Pools during the Summer 2026 season!

WHAT YOULL DO:To assist in the efficient and productive operation of the outdoor pools including slide dispatch cleaning and customer service duties.

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of pool area and locker rooms by performing daily housekeeping duties.
  
• Disinfect and clean bathrooms furniture and fixtures (i.e. tables chairs doors window glass door glass hand dryers etc.)
  
• Monitor patron usage of pool amenities including water slides
• Monitor amenities for safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are clean and in good operating condition.

WHAT YOULL BRING:

• Some high school education.
• Must be at least 16 years of age pursuant to Illinois Bathing Code by May 15 2026.
• CPR and AED certification or ability to obtain within first 3 months of employment.

WHEN YOULL WORK:
Scheduled days and hours may vary 20-40 hours per week. Schedules vary and will work with you and your availability!!

WHAT YOULL GET:

• The anticipated starting pay for this position is $15.00/hour.
• This position falls under Pay Grade E with a pay range of $15.00 - $20.00.
